I had decided several days before that our next stop would be Salem, but I also wanted to do another flyby of NYC on the way. It had looked at times like that might not be possible due to Presidential TFRs, but fortunately we only had a normal Yankees Stadium TFR to deal with. I decided that we would depart early, by 10am, to be well ahead of the 12pm scheduled start of the TFR, which slightly overlaps the Hudson Exclusion area. I refreshed my memory on the Hudson SFRA procedures and we departed around 10am. It was a beautiful weather day and we had great views of the NYC Skyline, although Violet was too sleepy to pay much attention! (Continued...)
